Privacy policy
Last updated on 26 May 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Feedr ApS collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use the Feedr platform and website. Feedr is a business-to-business service and is not directed to consumers.
1. Who we are
The data controller is Feedr ApS, CVR 39176173, Amagerfælledvej 106, Suite 07.05, 2300 København S, Denmark.
For any privacy question or request, contact us at hello@feedr.com.
2. The personal data we collect
Account and user data. Your name, email address, hashed password, language and number-format preferences, referral code, and limited activity data such as the time you were last active.
Company and billing data. Your company name, company tax identifier (such as VAT or CVR number), billing email, postal address, subscription and billing identifiers, and any cancellation reason you choose to provide.
Payment data. We use Stripe to process payments. We retain limited billing records and only the card brand and last four digits of a card. We do not store full card numbers; full card details are handled by Stripe.
Connected platform credentials. When you connect third-party platforms to the Service, we store the access credentials and tokens needed to operate those integrations. See section 9 (Security).
Support and communications. Messages you send us, and live-chat interactions on our website (handled through HubSpot).
Diagnostic and error data. Limited technical and error data collected to keep the Service working (through Sentry and Bugsnag), which may include your user ID when an error occurs.
Website usage data. When you visit our website, we collect device and usage information such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring source, through cookies and similar technologies, subject to your cookie choices (see section 8).
We do not process personal data about your own shoppers or end customers. The product feed and catalogue data we handle is product data, not personal data.
3. How we use personal data, and our legal bases
- To provide and operate the Service, manage your account, and process your feeds: performance of our contract with you.
- To handle billing, invoicing, and payment, and to keep required records: contract and our legal obligations.
- To secure the Service, prevent fraud, monitor errors, and keep the Service running: our legitimate interests.
- To analyse and improve the Service, including through aggregated and anonymised data that does not identify you: our legitimate interests.
- To send marketing emails to business customers about our own similar services: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time, with an option to opt out in every message.
- To use website analytics, advertising pixels, and other non-essential cookies: your consent.
4. Who we share personal data with
We use trusted service providers ("sub-processors") who process personal data on our behalf, under appropriate contractual protections:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) - hosting, database, and storage. Primary data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt).
- Stripe - payment processing.
- Mailgun - transactional email (EU).
- MailerLite - marketing email (EU).
- HubSpot - customer relationship management and website live chat.
- Google - tag management and website analytics.
- Meta - website advertising pixel and ad-catalogue integration.
- Pusher - real-time updates within the Service (EU).
- Sentry and Bugsnag - error monitoring.
- Slack - internal operational alerts.
We may also disclose personal data where necessary to comply with law, respond to a lawful request, enforce our agreements, or protect our rights, and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
Your data is primarily stored in the EU (Frankfurt). Some of our providers are located in, or transfer data to, countries outside the EU/EEA, including the United States (for example Stripe, HubSpot, Google, Meta, and Sentry). Where personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
6. How long we keep personal data
- Product feed data, configuration, and connected-platform credentials: deleted approximately 14 days after your access to the Service ends (following cancellation or expiry of a trial).
- Product images: deleted within a short period after they are removed.
- Account and billing records: retained for as long as your account is active, and afterwards until you ask us to delete them, except where we are required to keep certain records (such as invoices) to meet legal, accounting, or tax obligations.
You may ask us to delete your personal data at any time by contacting us. On a valid request, we delete or irreversibly anonymise your personal data in our systems, other than information we are legally required to retain.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access your personal data; to have it corrected; to have it erased; to restrict or object to its processing; to data portability; and to withdraw any consent you have given (which does not affect processing already carried out). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@feedr.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.dk).
8. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses essential cookies that are always active, and analytics, marketing, and targeting cookies that we set only with your consent. Only essential cookies are active before you make a choice; non-essential cookies are not set until you consent. You can set and change your preferences through our cookie banner at any time.
9. Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption of data in transit, hashed passwords, databases that are not publicly accessible and that have restricted, network-limited access, and encryption of stored integration credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal-data breach occurs that affects you, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
10. Children
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will post the updated version with a revised "last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you.
